Bob Barter can further mix your potions and changes to the wilderness have been made, including improvements to obtaining blood money.

    Bob Barter and Herblore

Bob Barter has been training his herblore and can now exchange completed potions for their ingredients! For example, you can buy prayer potions (3) by exchanging him noted vials of water, noted snape grass and noted grimy (or clean) ranarr weed. This can be especially useful for hard and ironman modes to save time not having to individually make every single potion, without putting potions directly in a shop for normal purchase.

The number of herbs monsters drop has been increased, along with them always being noted. Herb boxes have also been added to the boss slayer shop for 200 points.

    Wilderness Changes

    • The quest tab wild settings now contains a handful of useful settings and guides.
    • PvP weapons have been moved from the revenant drop table to the wilderness boss drop tables (not including the demi-bosses).
    • Completing a wilderness slayer task or a wilderness boss task will reward 20K blood money.
    • Blood money per kill has been raised from 5K to 10K.
    • Exchanging mysterious emblems will now give both coins and blood money.
    • Anglerfish and dark crabs in the resource area speed has been doubled and will give double fish.
    • Runite rocks have been added to the resource area, and all rocks respawn twice as fast.
    • All drops, excluding supplies, will be dropped in noted form.
    • On task monsters have a 1 in 5 chance to drop a dark crab or prayer potion (3).
    • The abyssal whip and kraken tentacle have been added to the BM shop for 60K.
    • Adjusted the zygomite spawns.
    • Wily hellcat has been added to the BM shop for 400K.
    • The bandit camp fishing spots have been removed.
    • Opting out of the target system has been disabled.
    • Attacking the Chaos Elemental with the wrong attack style with now quadruple its defence against you.
    • Slayer monsters in the wilderness can be attacked without the required slayer level, but no drops will be given.

    Normal Mode Changes

    • Increased the number of coins given in the starter from 100K to 1M.
    • For the first hour of play, the combat XP rate is doubled.
    • God books and defenders (excluding dragon) have been moved from the BM shop to the normal shops.

    Hard Mode Changes

    • Coin drops have been raised to match normal mode.
    • Normal monster drop rates now match normal mode (excluding the 10% boost).
    • Skilling supplies now cost the same as normal mode.
    • In the future, hard modes may be able to trade between normal mode rare drops.

    In Other News

    • Adjusted accuracy in PvP.
    • Raids drop rates have been raised from x1.5 to x2.
    • The slayer helm will now provide boosts against minions on god wars boss tasks.
    • The Kalphite Queen can now be assigned through boss slayer.
    • Piscarilius House teleport has been added, which includes fishing spots for anglerfish.
    • New items have been added to the DH tournament: ghrazi rapier, avernic defender, and dragonfire shield.
    • Increased the drop rate of the bracelet of ethereum.
    • Autochat will no longer bypass the ignore list.
    • The imbued god capes now work with the charge spell.
    • Drop rate boosts will no longer affect rates above 4% to avoid any issues with common loot tables.
    • Adjusted the color of announcements.
    • Hunter will inform you of the next level needed to set an additional trap.
    • Reduced the skeletal wyvern attack range to match OSRS.
    • PvP weapons can now be used on the max hit dummy (which counts as a monster in the wild).
    • Tele block is now lifted if you log out.
    • Added enchanted rune bolts to the clan wars tournament.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed stop the wyvern and double trouble slayer unlocks not displaying as checked once unlocked.

Speaking as a hard mode player, can we please NOT be able to trade with regular modes? Thank you.

The reason I'm considering limited trade is that right now hard mode makes up about 7% of the active playerbase. I understand hard mode's XP rate doesn't appeal to most players, but the lack of players in the mode with it being a 100% separate economy makes it even less inviting over just choosing ironman mode, a bit defeating the purpose of it being a difficult but non-ironman mode.

At the current moment, I play hard mode almost exclusively because it has the feel of a group ironman mode. It is a community in and of itself; everybody playing it has agreed to the challenging XP rates and thus a mutual bond is formed. It is not a solo mode, and that's a beautiful thing. If you want to succeed you have to ask for help, there is a huge sense of teamwork and agreeableness and very little (if any at all) price manipulation or backstabbing. When shit gets this hard there is no time to be a dick. Our economy is near perfect, with so few maxed hard players there isn't a large influx of endgame items, getting a drop truly feels like an accomplishment- by opening the gates to trading with accounts who can max in a day you would single-handedly destroy that balance. I don't want mystery box spoils in the economy, I don't want blood money shop items in the economy. I put up with the high xp rates because the hard mode community and economy is worth it- if you let us trade with normal modes, hard mode will become a mode purely for the torturous xp grind and nothing else. Please reconsider.
