Platinum Tokens and Rares

I can add platinums for staking, but at that point there's no need for a rare shop. Rares would be better left to continue being introduced in ways like they currently are: voting, clan wars tournament, PK raffle, etc. A shop that sells rares who's only value is to show off while bank standing would just mean that not very many would be bought, because they hold no use for anything including staking (because platinum tokens could be exchanged back to coins, so why would you waste any money on rares to stake?).

Platinum tokens for a rare shop can kill three birds with one stone:

1. Adds rares into the game which gives older players something to work towards
2. Cash and Item sink
3. Enables players to trade/stake more than 999m without needing an mm

Some people want so that the currency has money sink so it cannot be converted back to coins and some people want platinum tokens like in OSRS, that you can transfer back.

Solution that works for both:
1. Create custom currency for the rare shop that cannot be transferred back to coins.
2. Add platinum tokens which work exactly like in OSRS. Useful for stakers & other richer players.

For the custom currency use reward token as example and rename it to "Rare token" or something.

Point of having a "currency" which cannot be traded/staked?

I think the best solution would be to make platinum tokens and another currency obtained through cash (Plat Tokens) and items (other currency) exchangeable for rares; this should be done at high prices obviously, such as the cheapest phat being 3b. I don't see the down side of making platinum tokens trad-able/stake-able- it's just 100x more convenient than having an mm, especially on this server where scamming is neither penalised nor punished.
