Battlescape DH tournament
As you guys may have read there might be a DH tournament soon. The event will be held in the weekend and the prize pool would be made possible by donations from others.
This thread is to see if there is actual support for a tournament like this, so don't be to enthusiastic yet. However, if there is enough interest, i will work out a more detailed tournament with a fully working bracket.
How would it work?
As this is only a thread to see actual support before this is fully worked out not all rules have been thought out yet, but the ones that are are listed below.
When:
Friday 17th of november 11PM GMT
Rules:
Dead match, any kind of cheating is instant DQ. Winners will progress in a tournament bracket. Everybody uses the same gear (stated below) and spec weapon. After every fight in the tournament you hand over the won gear to one of the hosts which will be added to the prize pool. The bracket system that will be used is a simple knock-out tournament. Semi final and final will be a best of 3 game.
After each knockout round the remaining players will enter another randomized round and so on. Losers of both semi finals will play for the #3 spot.
Prayers:
During the fight the only allowed prayers are Protect one item (for the tentacle), piety and preserve.
Gear:
Everybody the same, will be checked before start off fight. Something along these lines seems to be enter able from every state of the game. Food will be maximized at X brews and everyone can only use the same type of food. This will also be checked before the start of the fight. Depending on the amount of people joining you will need at least 5 dh sets
Only allowed gear setup:
Rules regarding inventory setup:
- 1 brew max
- Dds for spec
Rest of inventory setup is up for personal preferences, such as amount of karambwans and super restores.

Prizes will be as followed:
#1 60% of total pool
#2 30% of total pool
#3 10% of total pool
To make this easier item prizes will be paid out in street prize cash, i will hold the items on my main account. All prizes will be stored on user 'Tournament'.
