jokes aside, I was listening to Avenged Sevenfold's 2007 album again the other day which was probably the first metal I ever listened to and it's still so so so good.

liked their earlier stuff because it was just stupid heavy breakdowns, felt like the last 2 albums, especially the most recent one were a bit too much metalcore for my tastes, still quite good though
